52 Weeks of Shannon
Shannon, a long time friend and fellow artist, and I decided to commence a project the goal of which was to create an image of her every week for 52 weeks, sort of a day in the life of Shannon in 52 images. We soon discovered that our individual work schedules made this project a lot more difficult to execute than we initially anticipated. My shooting schedule/travel schedule and her painting deadlines/travel schedule have conflicted and forced us, on a least a couple of occasions, to produce more than one image in a week so that it could carry over into the next.
After every shoot, we review the images and make a decision as to which image will be the image of the week. Once selected, the images are posted on my Twitter page, my Facebook pages, and Instagram when time permits. The images below are not necessarily in the order of creation date and there may be multiples from each shoot (the final image to be used in the portfolio may not yet have been determined). In order for the photos to fit in the page they have been organized by vertical and horizontal formats.
The project is ongoing…..
The images are photographed on location, my studio and Shannon’s studio and home.
